Ampco

AMPCO PUMPS COMPANY was founded in 1948 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin as a division of Ampco Metal Inc., a bronze foundry. Initially, the sole product line was nickel aluminum bronze centrifugal pumps targeted for salt water applications. Although marine duty pumps remain a key business component into the 21st century, the Company‘s product line has expanded considerably. 1953 we introduced the first stainless steel pump for industrial applications, followed 1957 with the Z Series, the first generation of CIP pumps. Since 1987 we sold the D Series, an investment cast pump with triclamp connections for CIP applications. In 1995 the company was acquired by the current ownership group.
